OWN Camp is a screen-free weekend where 11 to 13 year olds practise handling frustration and figuring out who they are. Run by current and former MOE teachers and licensed counsellors.

Fees

Normal RM480; Early bird RM380.

RM330 each when you sign up with a friend.

 

MOE Teachers

Current and former, who work with this age group every day

Licensed counsellors

On the team that designs and runs every session

1 adult : 10 kids

Day and night, including overnight

Child Protection

Formal PSEA policy and signed media consent

 
 
 

Programme breakdown

 

One Mini-Bite

Students can access 1-minute videos on self-development, mental health, and more. These will be made by students, for students.

PID visits

Students will be able to join in-person workshops to help with their self-development. These sessions will encompass Project ID’s key pillars: Leadership, Social Emotional Learning, and Career Aspirations.

Online wrap-up sessions

At the end of each theme, students will get the chance to recap what they learned, engage with each other and share their thoughts in a wrap-up session on Zoom/Discord!
