This is Evangeline

Check out Evangeline’s amazing journey!

Evangeline received a full Sunsuria Foundation Concord Scholarship to pursue A-Levels at Concord College International School. She spearheaded the planning and organisation of a charity bazaar, raising over RM3,400 for a youth camp. She was also a Kelantan state representative in national swimming competitions and regularly plays the piano, keyboard, and sings in her worship team.

As part of Project ID's Student Outreach Team, I was given the opportunity to plan, lead, and facilitate workshops for students. One memorable experience was a UNICEF @KitaConnect Youth Chat. This eye-opening experience allowed me to gain insights into the challenges students face, inspiring me to drive change.

Having the opportunity to plan and create videos on Project ID's Instagram account addressing the challenges students face allowed me to further pursue this change.

By planning and leading workshops and creating impactful social media content, Project ID helped me to develop leadership and communication skills. I was also inspired to make a difference, and this led me to discover my passion for the environment.

I decided to pursue an internship at an environmental organization, continuing my journey to drive positive change for the causes I care about. I taught students in environmental workshops, created educational content, and also had the opportunity to participate in a 1,100 tree-planting program!

“You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending.” - James R. Sherman.

Discover your passion, and don’t be afraid to begin working towards making a difference!
