Aspirasi Semporna
About
Aspirasi Semporna is a career aspirations programme for high-need indigenous students in Semporna, Sabah. We engaged a group of 40 Form 4 students from SMK Datuk Haji Panglima Jakarullah (SMK DHPJ), partnering with local educators to deliver the programme.
These students are:
1. Predominantly of Bajau & Suluk heritage.
2. From B40 households. ~70% of these students are from families that have a combined monthly household income of <RM1,000.
3. From areas that have limited access to the internet and have been negatively affected by school closures.
