Ultimately, students are tentative about returning fully to physical classrooms.

We present students with a general question: how do you want to learn in 2022 and into the future? In answering, students paint us a picture of what an ideal learning experience should look like based on their assessment of what has worked over the last few years, and what has not.

52% of our student respondents stated a preference for fully physical classes, compared to 42.8% who prefer a combination of online & offline, and 3.1% who would like fully online classes in the future. 

This preference for physical classes is informed by a desire to increase or improve their motivation to study, which some students find is lacking in an online environment. 

Students who prefer blended learning enjoy the benefits of both learning environments, stated as being able to socialise with friends, or save time when learning at home.
