In Nottingham University Academy of Science & Technology (NUAST), career programs starts as early as Year 7, allowing students to interact with employers, speakers and universities to explore career options. Industry and policymakers should work together to develop specialist schools that are linked to industries which focus on career skills development.

#4. Increase opportunities for volunteering and internships as part of schooling through partnerships
In 2023, Project ID through EduKerjaya partnered with JPN Selangor to host 80 Form 4 students, where they upskilled themselves in career exploration, joined internships and visited diverse workplaces
